London, July 29 : David Beckham has gone shirtless in an advertising campaign for his new `masculine' fragrance David Beckham Homme.

The 36-year-old LA Galaxy star hopes the product will get back to the `male roots' of the brand.

In the television advertisement, bare-bodied Beckham is spotted flexing his impressively sculpted six-pack.

It opens to see the footballer, flaunting his physical prowess as he runs topless along a platform.

After reaching the edge of the platform Beckham dives into a vat of the aftershave. In the next scene he is fully dressed in one of his trademark tailored suits.

The scent is reported to `encapsulate the spirit of David' - a concept that is expected to appeal women and men equally.

Speaking about the latest addition to his line of scents, Beckham said that he wanted to make a masculine scent that matches his own style.

"I wanted to create a modern, masculine fragrance that reflects my personal style," the Daily Mail quoted him as saying.

"The scent has both citrus and woody tones, it's clean, yet classic and I hope it's a fragrance men will enjoy to wear," he added. (ANI)
