Washington, Nov 16 : Actor Ben Affleck couldn’t help taking a poke at Matt Damon after his childhood friend was named the Sexiest Man Alive in a new poll.

In the poll, Damon defeated Patrick Dempsey and Ryan Reynolds and his Ocean's 13 co-stars Brad Pitt and George Clooney to emerge as the winner.

And Affleck, a previous winner, has written a letter to the publication, lavishing joke admirations on his pal.

"I've known Matt for 27 years and being sexiest is the only thing he's ever truly cared about... For a guy like Matt, four foot eleven inches, 295 pounds, it's a heck of an achievement, ” Contactmusic quoted Affleck, as saying.

“Matt has accomplished so many great things and won so many prizes, but, if I know anything, he holds this most dear among them, ” he added.

Affleck also teased the younger Damon he grew up with in Boston, Massachusetts.

"When he (Matt) went to the nightclubs, that two-tone shirt was the first thing to come off. Then he would get on the floor and just break you off some topless man dance, ” he said. (ANI)
