London, Sept 30 : Actress Billie Piper might walk down the aisle on the New Year's Eve.

Piper had been desperately trying to keep her wedding plans with actor Laurence Fox a secret, but one of her chums has revealed that the major event is going to be on the New Year’s Eve.

"The cat's out of the bag. Billie had to announce the date because her friends were making plans for New Year's Eve," the Daily Mail quoted a chum, as saying.

The star of the new ITV drama ‘The Secret Diary Of A Call Girl’ has told her friends and family to keep the date free and has sent out 'save the date' cards to reinforce the message.

Laurence, 29, and former ‘Dr Who’ actress Billie met earlier this year when they co-starred in a play.

Billie, 25, is in talks with a celebrity magazine to cover the nuptials near her home in Sussex, England to keep the paparazzi away from the wedding.

The probable guest list of the wedding includes Billie's ex-husband, DJ Chris Evans, and his new bride, golf pro Natasha Shishmanian.

"Billie wants Chris there and Laurence is fine with that," the chum said.

"She wants it to be the mother of all parties, so she's having it on New Year's Eve. She thinks a magazine deal will keep the paparazzi away," the pal added. (With inputs from ANI)
