London, Oct 10 : Britney Spears’ erratic behaviour has her father Jamie so worried that he wants to stage an intervention to get her to seek help

A source close to Britney’s estranged father reveals that Jamie Spears has even met lawyers to figure out the best way to help her before she harms herself or worse, her kids.
“He is consulting lawyers about the best way to help Britney,” The Sun quoted the source, as saying.
"He feels they need to stage an intervention to get her into rehab or some kind of therapy.
“He is worried she is going to harm herself or the boys.
“Jamie is also concerned about her wild lifestyle.

She is spending money like it is going out of fashion - checking into hotels when she has two homes in LA.
“He feels she should be putting the money aside for her kids.”
Jamie also defends his daughter’s former manager Larry Rudolph, who she fired after he persuaded her to go into rehab.
“When Larry Rudolph talked Britney into going into rehab he was doing what her mother, father and team of professionals with over 100 years of experience knew needed to be done,” he said.
“She was out of control. Larry was the one chosen by the team to roll up his sleeves and deliver the message, to help save her life.
“The Spears family would like to publicly apologize to Larry for our daughter’s statements about him over the past few weeks.
“Unfortunately, she blames him and her family for where she is at today with her kids and career.
“Larry has always been there for Britney. For this, we will forever be grateful to him.”

Britney had family, friends and fans worried when she called in the cops last weekend after thinking that her house had been burgled.
She then shocked staff at the trendy Viceroy Hotel by applying to become a barmaid.
Meanwhile Britney has passed her first random drug test ordered by the judge who granted ex Kevin Federline indefinite custody of her sons. (ANI)
