London, Oct 15 - Actor Gerard Butler and Sam Worthington are reportedly in talks to appear in "Hunter Killer".

The film is based on a novel, "Firing Point", written by George Wallace and Don Keith.

Contactmusic. com reports that the movie follows a rogue Russian general who kidnaps his country's president, who is pursued by an untested submarine captain - the role Gerard is in negotiations for - and a Navy Seal unit, which Worthington is said to be playing.

The film, scheduled to begin shooting later this year, will be directed by Antoine Fuqua. (IANS)
