London, Oct 26: Cate Blanchett wishes that she was half as intelligent as the Virgin Queen.

While at the London premiere of ‘Elizabeth: The Golden Age’, the 38-year old star said that the Virgin Queen was an amazing woman.

“She was a remarkable woman,” Daily Express quoted her, as saying.

“They were crazy enough to let me do it again. It’s a fantastic role. Am I the same as her? I wish I was half as intelligent,” she said.

The yet to be released movie has already made Blanchett a top contender for an Oscar for her role as the royal.

Blanchett is also talking about putting her royal robes back on for a third time to play the 16th century monarch Elizabeth I.

"There are endless possibilities with Elizabeth ... And I think there will be a lot more Elizabeth (films) because she's endlessly fascinating”, she said. (ANI)
