Charges against Tania Zaetta likely to be dropped

Charges against Tania Zaetta likely to be droppedMelbourne, May 09: It has emerged that charges against former Bollywood actress and TV host Tania Zaetta are likely to be dropped.

Zaetta, 41, had been facing charges of obstructing police and public nuisance after an incident at a Surfers Paradise nightclub in March. She had pleaded not guilty.

However, Gold Coast celebrity lawyer Chris Nyst told Southport Magistrates Court he had viewed CCTV footage and the charges were unlikely to proceed, reports the Courier Mail.

Nyst said negotiations were continuing with prosecutors and the case was set down for mention on June 6.

Zaetta had protested her innocence and rejected reports she was drunk and had racially abused bouncers at the nightclub. (ANI)
