London, April 20 : Actor Charlie Sheen has lost a bid to win sole custody of his two-year-old twin sons - Bob and Max.

The troubled actor wanted his sons to live with him after his ex-wife Brooke Mueller had checked into a rehab. However, a Los Angeles judge ruled Tuesday that she should remain the primary caretaker of the boys, reports thesun. co. uk.

Sheen, who was fired from his hit TV show "Two And A Half Men" in March over his constant drug binges, is now clean, according to tests. So his lawyers claimed that since Mueller had a relapse and was no longer fit to look after their children, Sheen should be given the twins' custody.
