Washington, Nov 15 : Chelsea Clinton has been hired as a full-time special correspondent for NBC News.

NBC News president Steve Capus told the New York Times that the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would focus on pieces for the network's `Making a Difference' feature on NBC Nightly News, Radar online reported.

Chelsea, issued a statement, in part, paying homage to her late grandmother Dorothy Rodham, who died November 1 at that age of 92.

"I hope telling stories through `Making a Difference' -- as in my academic work and non profit work -- will help me to live my grandmother's adage of `Life is not about what happens to you, but about what you do with what happens to you,'" she said. (ANI)
