Washington, Oct 20 : Coldplay treated a group of their fans to Pizza for waiting patiently in the cold to buy tickets to an intimate gig in Norway, England.

The British alternative rock band is scheduled to perform in a 1,200 capacity hall at the University of East Anglia on 27 October and hundreds of fans camped out last week to buy tickets for the show.

The Yellow hitmakers discovered that fans were sleeping outside to claim their tickets, so they ordered them all takeaway feasts to thank them for their devotion.

"Coldplay contacted us via the promoter and said that the band were so delighted with the loyalty of their fans that they would like to reward them with pizza for waiting so patiently in the cold," Contactmusic quoted Di Anderson, central support and marketing manager for the Union of Uea Students, as saying.

In the past, Beyonce has also ordered Pizzas for her fans at taping of a TV special in London in July, while Selena Gomez personally delivered cupcakes to a crowd waiting for her Canada show last week. (ANI)
