Washington, Oct 20 : Actor Russell Crowe has revealed that he spent “umpteen hours” filming fight scenes for ‘Superman: Man of Steel’.

The 47-year-old actor, who plays Jor-El in the upcoming superhero movie has been training hard for the film, has revealed the action scenes with Michael Shannon, who plays General Zod, are taking days to complete.

“15km bike ride, umpteen hours fighting Michael Shannon. He''s very hard to put down. Hard to tell who wins, we are still fighting tomorrow,” Contactmusic quoted him as tweeting.

Crowe has been training hard for the film, and has given up on drinking as part of a diet plan. (ANI)
