London, Sep 14 : A representative of Penelope Cruz and husband Javier Bardem has confirmed that the Spanish actress is pregnant with her first child.

"Penelope is four-and-a-half months pregnant," caontactmusic. com quoted the representative as saying.

Rumours were rife after newlywed Cruz was spotted sporting a growing belly on the sets of her new movie "Pirates of the Caribbean".

The 36-year-old's spokesperson revealed that the beauty is due to give birth early next year.(IANS)
