London, Dec 7 : British actress Dame Helen Mirren says she has put her awards, including her Oscar, in the attic.

The 64-year-old star was speaking at the Women in Film and TV Awards, where she was presented with a Lifetime Achievement award.

"Well I used to have them out but now I have put them away," the Telegraph quoted Mirren, as saying.

"Those awards are quite serious but I have had so many funny ones over the years.

"I won Best Actress at the Rio Film Festival which doesn''t exist any more so it''s probably a collector''s item. But now I have put them in the attic to be discovered after I''m gone," she added.
