Melbourne, Dec 29 : R and B king Usher is once again facing plagiarism allegations. And this time he is accused of ripping off a cartoon.

According to DJs in the US, the similarities between Usher''s song OMG and a Christmas Carol sung by Homer Simpson are too great to ignore and have created a mash-up of the two songs to expose the alleged plagiarism.

Usher''s song, which features will. i. am from the Black Eyed Peas, includes the lyrics: "Honey got a booty like pow, pow, pow. Honey got some boobies like wow, oh wow."

The lyrics in Homer Simpson''s song, featured in the 2003 episode Dude, Where''s My Ranch?, go: "Christmas in December, wow wow wow. Give me tons of presents, now now now....

Gossip sites and fan forums are buzzing over the allegations.

" I bet Usher has more important stuff to do then watch a seven year old Simpsons episode and think. ''That'd be a great song!''" News. com. au quoted Usher fans as writing on Entertainment Weekly website.

It''s not the first time Usher has faced plagiarism allegations. Last month, Wadena Pyatt accused the R&B singer and his collaborator Alicia Keys of stealing her song Caught Up and is seeking damages. (ANI)
