London, Sept 24 : Former `Big Brother' star Jade Goody's mother is set to sue the News Of The World claiming her late daughter's phone was hacked as she fought for her life.
Police are probing claims that phone hackers listened in as Goody told her mum: "I'm dying" in 2009, the Daily Star reported.
Jackiey Budden believes the tapped messages include Goody telling her that she had cancer.
Goody, who died aged 27, made the call after being told she had cervical cancer while appearing on the Indian version of `Celebrity Big Brother'.
Goody's close pal and publicist Max Clifford - thought to have received a 1million pounds payout after his own phone was hacked - said she was convinced that her phone was hacked while she struggled on her deathbed.
"Just weeks before Jade died she told me she thought her phone was being hacked because confidential information was coming out that would never have emerged otherwise," said Max.
"Things were in the press and she was saying: `There's no way this could have come from this person.'
"Even now with what's happened to me I can't make confidential calls to those closest to me without the fear that someone's listening.
"She had to deal with that on her deathbed," he added. (ANI)
