Washington, Oct 22 : Eva Longoria and ‘American Pie’ star Jason Biggs have signed on to star in elementary school comedy "Lower Learning."

The two will be joined by Rob Corddry, Ed Helms, Kyle Gass and Monica Potter.

The pic is beign produced by Starz Media and Ambush Entertainment with Mark Lafferty on as director.

Lafferty has also penned the script for the comedy from a story by Shahin Chandrasoma.

Longoria will be playing the role of a school inspector assigned to look into shady allegations at a school, run by an unprincipled school principal.

Also on board as producers are Matt Leutwyler and Sim Sarna along with Scott D. Greenberg, Karen Bailey and Kent Rice of Starz and Miranda Bailey of Ambush.

" Lower Learning" will be released theatrically early next year in targeted markets. (ANI)
