Washington, Feb 8: Actress Eva Mendes, who secretly entered a rehabilitation centre, to get over her "personal issues" took a day off from the health facility.

According to her rep, Mendes temporarily checked out of the Cirque Lodge in Utah for some personal business.

"Eva is attending to some personal business in Los Angeles and intends to return to complete her treatment shortly," Usmagazine. com quoted the rep as saying.

According to sources, the 33-year-old actress was struggling with a well-hidden substance abuse problem, including cocaine use.

"She kept it all behind closed doors and wasn't really a mess in public," said an insider. (ANI)
