London, July 7 : Hollywood actor George Clooney narrowly escaped an accident when fireworks exploded metres away from his boat while he was vacationing in Italy.

The "Up in the Air" star was watching the light show from the water with friends, including girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis and actress Uma Thurman, when a firework exploded close to their vessel, rocking the boat, reports aceshowbiz.com.(IANS)
