Geldof slams daughter’s granny for branding him ‘Satan’

Washington, Oct 02 : Sir Bob Geldof has hit out at late rocker Michael Hutchence’s mother, Patricia Glassop, for branding him ‘Satan’ after the rocker kept her away from her granddaughter Tiger Lily.

Sir Bob’s ex-wife Paula Yates walked out on him to have a relationship with Hutchence.

After Hutchence’s death in 1997 and Yates’ sudden death in 2000, the rocker adopted their daughter Tiger Lily.

Recently, Glassop claimed that after becoming the legal guardian of Tiger Lily, Geldof has damaged ties between her family and the girl.

Now, the former ‘Boomtown Rats’ frontman has insisted that Tiger Lily should be with her sisters - Geldof's children with Yates, instead of her granny.

"Tiger Lily's this gorgeous little tiny sprog who should be with her family and her three sisters,” Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

He said that the small child was being dragged in the clutter without any reason.

"What's this little thing got to do with any of this mess? She's just this little tiny girl who should have nothing to do with it," he said. (With inputs from ANI)
