Washington, Oct 21 : Actor George Clooney is sure about the fact that his life would have been just like Lindsay Lohan, had he found fame at such a young age.

During a candid chat with actor pal Christian Slater, the pair admitted their sympathy for Lohan, who gained recognition in her teens and has since led a messy life.

Clooney defended the ‘Mean Girls’ star, by saying that even he would have ended up in rehab had he been discovered in his 20’s.

"Had (Clooney) been discovered at the age of 20, and had to go through whatever he's had to go through in his life in the public eye at that age... as he said to me: 'Jesus Christ, I'm certainly grateful that I didn't have to do that. I mean, the guy was 35 when he went on ER,” Contactmusic quoted Slater, as saying.

"My heart certainly goes out to Lindsay. She is a very talented girl, but you know she's a young girl. Who are we to judge or condemn?" he added. (ANI)
