George Clooney has no plans to quit biking, enter politics

George ClooneyWashington, October 6 : Oscar winner George Clooney has said that he will never quit riding his motorcycle, despite the fact he has had three bike crashes.

The 46-year-old star said that he has been biking for about three decades, and that he considered the motorcycle to be his main mode of transportation.

"I ride a motorcycle when I'm home in Los Angeles. It's my main mode of transportation. I've been riding for 30 years, and I've had three accidents, which isn't bad odds. I'll keep riding," E!online quoted him as saying, while replying to the questions of Time magzine’s readers.

Clooney also talked about the accident he met with two weeks ago, wherein he suffered a hairline rib fracture after he and girlfriend Sarah Larson were hit by a car in Weehawken, New Jersey.

He said that he was able to drive his Harley-Davidson to the hospital, but Larson, who broke her foot, had to be moved by ambulance.

Clooney also clarified that he was not considering a career in politics.

"As an advocate, I can take a side and stand by it and not have to worry about ticking off some constituents who helped get me elected. I don't want all those kinds of strings attached," he said. (ANI)
