George Clooney has split from his girlfriend of almost a year, former cocktail waitress Sarah Larson, according to a report in In Touch Weekly Wednesday.

Larson, 29, previously told the Las Vegas Review Journal that she met Clooney, 47, while he was celebrating his birthday several years ago at the swanky Green Valley Ranch in Vegas. The two started dating last June when the actor returned to Vegas for the premiere of Ocean's Thirteen.

The couple even attended the Oscars together, but Clooney apparently has decided to move on.

"George is relieved to be single again," an unidentified source told In Touch. "He thinks Sarah is sweet and that is why it was so hard to break up with her. The truth is they had little in common and he just doesn't want to be tied down." (dpa)
