George Michael cringes at his 80s fashion faux pasLondon, Jan 7 : George Michael is uncomfortable about his fashion sense in the 80s.

Michael had earned some quick fame for his almost outrageous dressing sense as he donned pastel suits, earrings and used fake tans while he was a member of two-member boyband Wham!

And now he says he and his bandmate Andrew Ridgeley could have styled themselves better.

"I didn''t use a stylist. I don''t think I could have afforded one," the Daily Express quoted Michael as telling People mag.

"The blonde hair came about because I didn''t want to be me, so the dark, curly hair had to go."

He added: "I could have done without those curtain rings in my ears. Another embarrassing moment: I went to an awards ceremony in a suit that made me look like Colonel Sanders. And I was practically orange from overdoing it on the sunbed." (ANI)
