Wellington, Oct 21 : Vanessa Hudgens has reportedly been dumped by Disney and may not star in the highly anticipated 'High School Musical 3’.

The news comes just a month after nude photos of the star were placed on the Internet.

A source form Disney revealed to OK! Magazine, that the 18-year-old actress had been fired from starring in the third film of the hugely popular High School Music series.

However, a representative for Hudgens denied the claims, telling www.cinematical.com that the star was "still in negotiations" with Disney.

But OK! magazine has quoted a reliable source as saying that Disney is willing to treasure Hudgens’ co-star, Zac Efron to carry the movie alone.

"Disney finally decided that they don't want her back," the NZPA quoted the source, as telling the mag.

"They feel that as long as Zac Efron is in the movie, all will be fine. He comes without baggage,” the source added. (ANI)
