Washington, Sept 2 : Hugh Jackman has been voted as the favourite sci-fi actor, ahead of Johnny Depp and Davis Tennant.

According to a poll conducted by TV Network SyFy, the 42-year-old Australian actor, who plays a transformed Wolverine in the `X-Men' franchise, has been voted as the favourite sci-fi star by fans, Contactmusic reported.

`Doctor Who' star Tennant landed the second spot, while British actor John barrowman came in third for his role in `Torchwood', with Depp coming fourth for `Edward Scissorhands' and Harrison Ford landing fifith for his portrayal of Han Solo in the `Star Wars' films.

Sarah Michelle Gellar was voted in first for playing `Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and `Star Trek' actress Jeri Ryan came second in the female category. (ANI)
