Melbourne, Jan 16 : Sophie Monk, who claims to have been on dates with the "sexiest men on earth", says that she has decided to step off the rollercoaster of romance and stay single for now.

The 32-year-old pop singer said that all that some of the most influential men in Hollywood wanted was the perfect blonde trophy girlfriend.

The model insists she only dates people who make her laugh and understand her.

"The funny thing is I've been on dates with the so-called `sexiest men on earth' and pretended to be sick so I don't have to listen about their styling meetings and hairdressing appointments," news. co. au quoted her as saying.

"And I've seriously been proposed to six times after only having a few dinner dates. I've even been offered millions per year to stop working. But my real goal is to make my own money because I'm working to support my family and their future.

"I only date people that make me laugh and understand this crazy head of mine, someone who can be like an un-jealous best friend who enjoys the quirky side of life.

"Funny, this column is starting to sound like a singles ad. But I do get mind crushes on men, with me I'm attracted to being mentally stimulated. I do find that soooo sexy, hence the non-consistency of a physical type.

"All my closest friends are men and it's just as hard for them. I think everyone is here for a similar reason, so it works both ways.

"So now I'm going to stay single and take things slow. I'm stepping off the rollercoaster of love for now," she added. (ANI)
