Jerry O'Connell (born February 17, 1974) is an American television and film actor. He is probably best known for three major roles: "Vern Tessio" in Stand by Me, Quinn Mallory in the TV series Sliders, and Detective Woody Hoyt on the hit drama Crossing Jordan. He currently appears in the ABC sitcom Carpoolers.
