London, January 24 : Joaquin Phoenix is back – and this time he’s without the beard.

Last year, the actor had developed a shabby look including a beard after announcing he was set to begin his career as a rapper.

The actor, in the new shaven clean look, joined ex-girlfriend Liv Tyler to shoot a promotional ad for charity To Write Love on Her Arms.

The non-profit movement focuses on people with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide, reports the Daily Express.

Phoenix had made his bearded look famous after a series of bizarre TV and public appearances. (ANI)
