London, Feb 11: Jude Law was not behind his sudden split from fiancée Sienna Miller, according to sources.

The 38-year-old actor and his 29-year-old girlfriend announced their separation on Tuesday, prompting rumours to abound for the reason behind their break-up.

But a source close to the `Alfie' actor said he was innocent.

"Clearly things aren''t particularly rosy in Jude's personal life," the Daily Mail quoted the source as saying.

"All I can say is that''s he''s gone through a rough time. These things are hard - it''s awful.

"The good thing is that he''s busy. He''ll keep on working," the source said.

Asked if Law was responsible for the split, tellingly, the family source added: "No, that wouldn''t be fair at all. He''s shocked by this." (ANI)
