London, Dec 05: ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actress Kiera Knightley insists that her ‘Atonement’ co-star James McAvoy should have precedence over her for the credits.
She has generously given up the top billing in favour of McAvoy’s name being first on the credits.
“I’m just not into that s*** about ‘I want my name on top’. I think it’s James’s movie,” Daily Express quoted the actress as saying.
“It’s one of the most incredible performances I’ve seen and there’s no way that my name should be first. I got very embarrassed by the suggestion. I think James McAvoy is a once-in-a-generation kind of talent,” she added.
The Scottish actor previously mentioned that he dreaded his steamy sex scene with Kiera Knightley in their new film, because he feared she would think he was not well endowed enough. (ANI)
