Melbourne, Jan 6 : Leonardo DiCaprio introduced girlfriend Erin Heatherton to his mother over the holidays.

The three met over New Year’s Day brunch at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.

“The meeting went well and mum and Erin were seen laughing. Leo and Erin were on their best behaviour,” the Herald Sun quoted a source as telling New York Post.

DiCaprio and Heatherton have grown extremely close since December, and spent the holidays vacationing in Mexico with friends including couples George Clooney and Stacey Keibler, and Alex Rodriguez and his new gal pal Torrie Wilson.

The actor is extremely close with his mother, who has often accompanied him on the red carpet, and her approval is key to his long-term relationships. (ANI)
