Washington, August 5 : Lindsay Lohan, who attended a Coldplay concert in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, was given free tickets from the band's frontman Chris Martin, it has been revealed.

The troubled actress is a huge fan of the British rockers and reached out to Chris for tickets as the pair have been "good friends" for years, according to gossip website TMZ.

Lindsay - who brought her younger sister Ali to the gig, where they enjoyed prime seats near the stage - later tweeted: "I love Coldplay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! W/my sis :) (sic)"

Coldplay paid tribute to the late singer Amy Winehouse during the band''s encore, where they performed a slower version of her hit ''Rehab'', before singing their own song ''Fix You''. (ANI)
