Lyle Pearce Lovett (born November 1, 1957) is an American singer-songwriter and actor. He was born in the unincorporated region of Klein, Harris County (suburban Houston),Texas, the son of Bernell (née Klein), a training specialist, and William Lovett, a marketing executive.
