New York, Nov 11 : Mariah Carey recently took a jibe at Kim Kardashian’s 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, labelling it as ‘fake’.

Carey, who has been happily married to Cannon since 2008, boasted about her relations with husband and said that they are ‘same team always’.

“I’m a real person, I’m not going to put on a fake face for Hollywood,” the New York Post quoted Carey as saying, when asked about her husband Cannon at a press conference.

“There’s no teams; me and Nick are the same team always.”

“Sometimes we make each other mad. That’s why we aren’t divorced after four months,” she added.

Carey was, seemingly, referring to Kardashian filing for divorce after just 72 days.

When the crowd reacted to the statement, Carey calmed the swell and backtracked.

“I’m sorry, I’m just saying,” she said.

She also asserted that the statement was not pointed at Kardashian. (ANI)
