Washington, Oct 24 : R&B singer Mariah Carey has reportedly purchased 12 bottles of exclusive Lalique perfume worth 13,200 dollars - because she loved the design. 

The 37-year-old singer, who has just launched her own perfume, recently bought up a case of the limited-edition perfume. 

The perfume is dubbed the butterfly scent because it comes in an etched crystal bottle and is decked up with a butterfly bottle stopper. 

A source has revealed that the singer is crazy about butterflies so purchasing the perfume was a must for her.

"Mariah is crazy about butterflies, so she just had to have them. She thinks the scent will make her smell like a butterfly," Contactmusic quoted the source, as telling In Touch Weekly magazine. (ANI)
