Washington, Dec 23: American actress Katie Holmes insists that her marriage to Hollywood star Tom Cruise has not changed her in any way.

The actress, who had first achieved fame for her role as Joey Potter in the teen drama Dawson’s Creek, says that she is happier than ever after tying the knot.

A year after the couple exchanged vows in Italy, Holmes is a content wife and mother to their 20-month-old daughter Suri.

And the actress says she’s not overwhelmed by her superstar status.

"With everything that's happened, I still feel the same. I'm really happy being a mom, being a wife,” Contactmusic quoted her, as telling Parade magazine.

"I appreciate the man that I'm with and my family and my work. I feel very lucky to be able to say that,” she added. (ANI)
