Matt Sorum (born November 19, 1960, in Mission Viejo, California) is an American hard rock drummer and percussionist. Sorum is most famous for his 7 year stint in Guns N' Roses (1990-1997) and his current stint in the supergroup Velvet Revolver (2002-present), which features former Roses members Duff McKagan (bass) and Slash (lead guitar).
