London, Jan 19 : Michelle Williams fought back tears when she opened up about her relationship with her father, revealing she doesn’t speak to him anymore.

The ‘My Week With Marilyn’ star had legally emancipated herself from her parents Carla and Larry when she was just 15 years old, so she could quit studying with a tutor and instead begin working as an actress.

The star’s parents split when Williams was 24 and she confesses her relationship with her dad has deteriorated ever since.

“We’re not in contact at the moment... but maybe that will change,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying in an interview with GQ magazine.

The mere mention of her father was too much for the star who broke down during the interview.

“I wasn’t expecting this. I thought I’d gotten so good at (hiding) this recently. I’m like, ‘Ah, I can do this.’ Goddammit, I thought I’d gotten better at it,” she added. (ANI)
