Mickey Rourke quits 'Conan The Barbarian' remakeLondon, March 17 - Actor Mickey Rourke has walked out of the remake of 1982 film "Conan The Barbarian" for unspecified reasons.

The Oscar winner was roped in to play Conan's father in the new movie alongside former "Baywatch" star Jason Momoa, who will reprise the role made popular by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the original.

Rourke has now dropped out of the production, and will be replaced by Ron Perlman, reports dailystar. co. uk.

"Hellboy" star Perlman was earlier involved with the animated Conan TV series, where he lent his voice to the lead.

"Conan The Barbarian" is slated for a 2011 release. (IANS)
