London, July 09: `Harry Potter' star Emma Watson has said that playing Hermione Granger in the wizard movie had - at times - ruled her life.

Seeing the cheering fans in London's Trafalgar Square for the release of `Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2', brought home to her that this really was the end of an era.

"Not a single second of the day was in my power. I was told what time I'd get picked up, what time I could eat and when I could go to the bathroom," the Mirror quoted her as saying exclusively before the premiere.

"I have spent more of my life being someone else than I have being myself.

"I've always had a strong sense of who I am and what I want, but I do need to spend more time figuring that out," she added. (ANI)
