London, Sept 20 : Sir Paul McCartney, who composed the music for new ballet `Ocean's Kingdom', has revealed that the score was inspired by the plight of the world's oceans.
The former Beatles rocker admits there's a big message behind the score.
"I read recently that in five years we'll have ruined the oceans and lose millions of species of fish, so the ocean kingdom represents purity and the earth kingdom (in the story), which is kind of edgy, wants to steal it," the Daily Express quoted McCartney as telling Rolling Stone magazine.
The ballet will debut in New York later this week. (ANI)
