Washington, July 7 : Oprah Winfrey has revealed that she will be teaching life classes, entitled ‘It’s Life 101’, to South African High School students.
The US chat show host, who opened the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in Henley on Kilp, south of Johannesburg, in 2007 will be teaching the pupils at the school in the hope of advising them how the world works.
“Should be fun since I love to teach. And they’re like sponges. Like 12th graders everywhere, this first class is both anxious and excited about going to college,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
“Most will be the first in their family. So it’s a very big deal for them, and they’re feeling the pressure,” she said.
Winfrey said that she “loves” talking to the girls at the academy and imparting words wisdom onto the students after visiting them during a recent trip to South Africa.
“I love being with them and talking to them about all things important,” Oprah wrote on her Facebook page.
“When I’m there I’m talking from the time I get up till I go to bed, about everything teenage girls are going through. It’s the same all over the world,” she added. (ANI)
