London, Aug 16 : Orlando Bloom has pledged to back his mother’s campaign to raise awareness of endangered butterflies.
The actor sponsored children’s book ‘Crystal, the Small Miracle’, which was penned by his mother, Sonia Copeland Bloom, and is aimed at educating readers about the insect world.
“Butterflies are powerful symbols of the beauty and vulnerability of nature,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
“The story of Crystal, the Small Miracle, written by my mother for children everywhere, reflects her own love of butterflies as well as her passion for children to be educated about the insect world in general,” he added.
The book, which is published by a conservation group, is dedicated to his young son Flynn. (ANI)
