Mumbai, May 10 : Superstar Aamir Khan has praised the latest Marathi movie 'Sairat' and has asked his fans and well-wishes to go and watch the film.

Aamir, who is currently busy with his upcoming film "Dangal", took to Twitter where he shared that he is still recovering from the shock of the climax.

"Just saw 'Sairat'. I'm heartbroken, still recovering from the shock of the end," Aamir tweeted on Monday.

The "PK" star also congratulated the film's director Nagraj Manjule and the entire cast and crew of "Sairat".

"I am glad that he is doing a film of that stature and is working with Aamir Khan. It is really good for him," Ayushmann, whose film "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" bagged the Best Hindi Film at the 63rd National Film Awards, told IANS.

Shantaram's 1972 Marathi film "Pinjra" and says that today we hardly get to see films made by yesteryear filmmakers in theatres due to lack of restoration.

"Just got to know that 'Pinjra' , V. Shantaram's last film, has been restored and re-released in theatres," Aamir posted on Twitter on Friday.

During the screening of Sonam Kapoor's 'Neerja' the 50-year-old actor said, "Salman's films are always good, so I have lot of expectations from Sultan. Like how all wait with bated breaths for his films, I too am waiting for it. It'll be a very good film," reports the Express Tribune.
