New Delhi, June 29 : The expected box office clash between Aamir Khan's movie 'Dangal' and Ranbir Kapoor's 'Jagga Jasoos' might just be averted as makers of both flicks are keen on reaching an amicable settlement.

Earlier, it was reported that both movies would clash with each other this Christmas. However, now, according to a report in FilmFare, production heads of both films have apparently been discussing solutions to avoid the clash.

New Delhi, June 17 : Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan has recently expressed his desire to work with Salman Khan in a sequel to their hit comedy 'Andaz Apna Apna'.

Interacting with the media at the location shoot of his upcoming wrestling biopic ' Dangal' in Ludhiana, the 51-year-old actor said. "I would love to do 'Andaz Apna Apna 2' with Salman. I hope to work with him again but only if the right script and film comes up. I'm sure both of us would love to do it."

When asked who could reprise their roles for a remake, Aamir said, "For that, you need to tell me the script."

New Delhi, June 17 : Quashing the rumour about the release date his flick ' Dangal' being brought forward, Aamir Khan has said that the movie will hit the theatres on its scheduled date, that is December 23.

Addressing the media at the location shoot of his upcoming wrestling biopic in Ludhiana, the 51-year-old actor said, "We are coming on Christmas weekend. All the reports regarding the release date of the film are false. We are not releasing our film on December 16. It will release on December 23, which is a Friday just two days before Christmas."

"Dangal", directed by Nitesh Tiwari, tells the story of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who fought against all the odds to train his daughters, Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari, in professional wrestling.

Ludhiana, June 17 : Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan on Thursday resumed the shooting of "Dangal" here at the Akhada Leel near Toosa village in a new muscular look for the younger avatar of his character, and confirmed that the movie will release on December 23 as scheduled.

"We are coming on Christmas weekend. We are not releasing our film on December 16. It will release on December 23, which is a Friday just two days before Christmas," he clarified.

The 51-year-old actor will essay the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat in the forthcoming biographical sports drama film.

New Delhi, June 16 : If the recent buzz is to believed, then a sequel to the 1994 comedy 'Andaz Apna Apna' is happening and the film would reportedly be rolled out by the year's end.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Preeti Sinha, the daughter of Vinay Sinha has given the rights to the production house Phantom Films and the upcoming sequel will be helmed by Vikas Bahl or Vikramaditya Motwane.

The leading daily quoted the source as saying that the script of the forthcoming film, developed by Vivek Soni and Hardik Mehta has been locked.

New Delhi, June 11 : The 2014 blockbuster 'PK,' featuring Aamir Khan, is all set to hit the theatres in Japan, this October.

Film critic Taran Adash took to his Twitter handle to share of Japanese version of the movie's poster, writing, "#PK to release this October in Japan. Poster for Japanese market."

According to sources, the movie will be released by Vinod Chopra Films, Rajkumar Hirani Films and UTV Motion Pictures in association with the Japanese entertainment company Nikkatsu Corporation.

Mumbai, March 25 : Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has applauded the effort made by Pune-based Purushottam Laddha to re- release late filmmaker V. Shantaram's 1972 Marathi film "Pinjra" and says that today we hardly get to see films made by yesteryear filmmakers in theatres due to lack of restoration.

"Just got to know that 'Pinjra' , V. Shantaram's last film, has been restored and re-released in theatres," Aamir posted on Twitter on Friday.
