Mumbai, Oct 5 : Real-life crime cases have always inspired filmmakers and it seems Aamir Khan is bitten by the same bug too. The story of his upcoming film "Talaash" revolves around a murder and reportedly it bears resemblance to much-publicised Aarushi murder case.
Mumbai, Aug 30 - Aamir Khan surely goes out of his way for causes that are close to his heart. The actor, busy with a shooting schedule in Chicago, made time to write to "Jalpari: The Desert Mermaid" director Nila Madhab Panda, expressing his desire to watch the movie on female foeticide.
As a subject, female foeticide is very sensitive for Aamir, who dealt with it in all its seriousness on his debut TV show "Satyamev Jayate".
New Delhi, Aug 1 : Bollywood star Aamir Khan can now take pride in owning legendary actor Shammi Kapoor's jacket, one among the six film memorabilia items he bid for, at the Osian's Cinefan auction here. Aamir spent a total of Rs. 238,000 at the event.
The auction, held here Tuesday, was held as part of the ongoing 12th Osian's-Cinefan Film Festival. It turned out to be a success with sales of Rs. 69.55 lakh and 86 percent lots sold.
