London, Aug 25: Al Pacino has revealed that he was left badly burnt when he grabbed the barrel of a newly fired gun while shooting `Scarface'.
The 71-year-old actor, who played the iconic character of Tony Montana in the 1983 gangster classic, placed his hands on the burning hot barrel, forgetting that 30 rounds had just been shot from it.
"My hand stuck to that sucker," the Daily Star quoted him as saying.

New York, Aug 1 - Veteran actor Al Pacino's daughter has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Julie Pacino, 21, was detained at a checkpoint in Manhattan in the early Saturday after authorities found her blood alcohol level to be over the legal limit, reports contactmusic. com.
The aspiring director is being held in the Manhattan Detention Complex pending arraignment. (IANS)

London, June 8 : Acting legend Al Pacino is reportedly in talks to play an ageing rocker in "Imagine" in writer Dan Fogelman's directorial debut.
The film will focus on Pacino's character, a rocker who decides to track down his estranged biological son after finding a letter written to him by the Beatles' John Lennon.

London, May 06 : US actor-director Al Pacino, recently nominated for a Tony Award, will be honored at this year''s Venice Film Festival with the `Glory to the Filmmaker' Award.
The honor is given to an artist who has left an `original mark' on contemporary cinema.
Pacino, 71, will receive the award on 4 September, ahead of the premiere of his new film `Wilde Salome' at the festival, reports the BBC.

London, July 14 : Al Pacino is all set to make a TV ad for the first time for a coffee company.
The star has teamed up with director Barry Levinson to make the TV ad for Australian coffee company `Vittoria'.
The commercial, which was filmed in New York's West Village, comes in two versions, reports the Daily Express.
In the first, Pacino says, "I drink coffee all the time so that should qualify me as someone who knows about coffee."
