New Delhi, Feb 10 : Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that he will be undergoing a minor abdominal surgery on Saturday.

The 69-year-old has suffered from a series of stomach infections in the recent past.

Mumbai, Feb 8 - Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, along with wife Jaya, will work in his make-up man Deepak Sawant's Bhojpuri film "Gangadevi".

"Tomorrow I shoot for my make-up man's production of his Bhojpuri film. Jaya and I together for a day's work," Amitabh wrote on his blog bigb. bigadda. com Tuesday night.

Patna, Feb 7 - The government has invited Amitabh Bachchan and other actors of Bihar origin for Bihar Diwas centenary celebration in March.

It marks the day when the British carved out Bihar from Bengal Presidency March 22, 1912.

"Amitabh Bachchan will be one of the special guests," said Yaswant Prashar, a member of cultural committee for Bihar Diwas.

Mumbai, Feb 6 - Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says he is shocked to hear about star cricketer Yuvraj Singh's illness and prays for his well being.

New Delhi, Jan 19 - Amitabh Bachchan, who played the character of Anthony Gonsalves in the 1977 hit movie "Amar Akbar Anthony", has mourned the death of the real-life Goan orchestra maestro.

The musician, who was suffering from pneumonia, died at the Goa Medical College Wednesday. He was 84.

Mumbai, Jan 18 - Memories came rushing back to Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan Wednesday when he visited the room in which his father, poet-writer Harivansh Rai Bachchan breathed his last nine years ago.

"Harivansh Rai Bachchan, my father... his death anniversary today 18th Jan. I stand silently at the entrance to his room in Prateeksha and look at the space he breathed his last...!!" Amitabh posted on Twitter.
