London, May 10 : Actor Billy Zane has landed himself in trouble by failing to pay taxes on time, it has emerged.

California tax officials have a lien filed against him, claiming he owes 77,719 pounds in delinquent taxes, reports the Daily Express.

Tax bosses submitted the demand at the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds in March, reports PerezHilton. com

Meanwhile, the ‘Titanic’ actor is reportedly set to make his directorial debut. (ANI)
