Washington, Jan 12 : Brittany Murphy’s father has filed a suit against the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office and the Los Angeles Police Department, demanding a fresh investigation into his daughter’s untimely death.

He has demanded for an additional toxicology testing on a sample of the late star’s hair.

Washington, Dec 19 : Brittany Murphy’s mother has claimed that toxic mold found in the Hollywood star’s swanky home had killed her daughter and her son-in-law, and now she wants somebody to pay.

The ‘Sin City’ actress had died from pneumonia in 2009 and five months later, her husband also passed away from the same disease.

London, April 12 - Late actress Brittany Murphy's death certificate was altered to include her father's name after he complained of being unable to visit his daughter's grave.

Murphy, who died of cardiac arrest linked to pneumonia and anaemia in 2009, was estranged from her father Angelo Bertolotti and Murphy's death certificate originally listed the actress paternity as unknown.

The house, where the "Clueless" star and her husband Simon Monjack died, is 8,000 square feet in area. It has had a long history since Murphy passed away in December 2009. Back in March 2010, her mom Sharon put the home on the market with an asking price of $7.25 million, reports tmz. com.

Washington, Nov 10 : To honor late Brittany Murphy's memory, the singer's mother Sharon is all set to write a book on her daughters life who would have been 33-years-old this week.

"This book will be my way of celebrating and honoring her extraordinary life and career," TMZ quoted her as saying in a statement through her rep.

Sharon insists the biography will be an "accurate account about my daughter, her life, loves, and career."

Washington, August 19 : Brittany Murphy''s mom Sharon has slammed L. A. County Coroner''s report on Simon Monjack''s death – especially the part that references her sharing a bed with him.

According to the final report, an investigator walked through Monjack''s bedroom with a woman who identified one side of Monjack ''s bed as "her side of the bed."

The woman''s name was withheld from the report, but law enforcement sources have identified her as Sharon.

Washington Aug 17 : Late actress Brittany Murphy''s mother has revealed that she shared bed with her daughter''s husband Simon Monjack after Brittany died.

In the L. A. Coroner''s Office''s report on Monjack''s death, the investigator documents an exchange with a person whose name has been withheld, reports TMZ. com.

However, the law enforcement sources have identified it as Brittany''s mother, Sharon Murphy.

Washington, July 26 : Investigation into the death of American actress Brittany Murphy and her husband Simon Monjack is now being looked after by the Department of Public Health after a mold was found at their residence.
