Los Angeles, Jan 25 - Singer Bruce Springsteen's new album "Wrecking Ball" is set to hit the shelves March 6.
The album "Wrecking Ball", which is being released by Sony Music, features 11 new recordings and has been produced by Ron Aniello with executive producer Jon Landau and Springsteen himself.

London, April 24 : U. S. born singer Bruce Springsteen, who has European immigrant roots, was honoured with the ''Ellis Island Family Heritage Award.
The 60-year-old from New Jersey received the award at a glittering event where he was accompanied by his mother and aunts - the women who he said "provided me with place" and "filled my family and all of my work with great meaning".

Washington, Nov 8 : Bruce Springsteen hopes that history will remember him as a person who stood up for civil rights of all people in the aftermath of 9/11.
The rocker tells Rolling Stone magazine that the days after attacks on the World Trade Centre will be remembered more for illegal wire tapping, rendition, the abuse of prisoners, cutting back of civil rights than for anything else.
